Day-wise itinerary

  1. Day01

    Arrive Chandigarh, drive to Shimla

    Pickup from Chandigarh airport or railway station and a scenic 4-hour drive up to Shimla. Check in and spend the evening on Mall Road and The Ridge.

  2. Day02

    Shimla and Kufri

    Morning excursion to Kufri for views of the Himalayan range and pony rides. Afternoon visits to Jakhu Temple, Christ Church and the Viceregal Lodge.

  3. Day03

    Shimla to Manali via Kullu

    Drive along the Beas river with stops at Pandoh Dam, the Kullu shawl factories and the river rafting point. Reach Manali by evening.

  4. Day04

    Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel

    Full day at Solang Valley for paragliding, the ropeway and snow activities in season, then through the Atal Tunnel to Sissu in the Lahaul valley.

  5. Day05

    Manali sightseeing

    Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashisht hot springs, the Tibetan monastery and Van Vihar. Evening free for Old Manali and Mall Road.

  6. Day06

    Manali to Dharamshala

    A long but scenic drive through the Kangra valley. Check in at Dharamshala and relax for the evening.

  7. Day07

    McLeodganj and Dharamshala

    Dalai Lama Temple complex, Bhagsu Nag waterfall, St John in the Wilderness church, the HPCA cricket stadium and the Kangra tea gardens.

  8. Day08

    Departure

    After breakfast, drop at Gaggal airport, Pathankot station or Chandigarh for your onward journey.
